For as long as I can remember, I have always loved the use of a camera. There is something about photos that I have always loved, one quick snapshot can provide a memory to last not just our lifetime but for those to come, when you think about it like that, it’s easy to see why photography is so fascinating. I was always quite an academic person and then chose to study Photography as one of my A-levels in sixth form and it quickly became the creative outlet I never knew I needed.

I was always a bit of a geek and so often had my head in the books but being behind a camera took me away from all of that stress and I loved it.

Fast forward to my adult life and the art of adulting quickly takes priority which i’m sure many of you can relate with, but my love for photography never disappeared, whether on holiday, spending time with friends and family or even just going out to a new restaurant, I always want to take photos to remember the moment.

I have now decided to fall back in love with photography with a focus on the next generation; newborns, sitters and toddlers. There really is nothing more memorable than children and remembering every tiny detail about them as they get older which often happens in the blink of an eye, I am excited to get to meet new people and capture the most beautiful time of their life, from maternity shoots onwards.
